American military personnel, injured by insurgent activity in Iraq, re-adjust to life back home: Private Alan Jermaine Lewis (23), machine-gunner with the 3rd Infantry Division, was wounded when the Humvee he was driving hit a landmine on Highway 8 in Baghdad. The explosion blew off both his legs, injured his face, and broke his left arm in six places.
