The photographer does pushups at a place of topical significance. The Moment: The Case of the Trash Incinerator in Guangzhou, Guangdong. In late September, residents of Panyu district in the city of Guangzhou began protesting against the planned construction of a trash-burning power station in their district. They were concerned with health issues and the effect on property value. Officials insisted the incinerator would not pose a health threat.
