American athlete Marion Jones wins the 100m dash at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
The world's fastest woman completed the race in 10.75 seconds with a victory margin of 0.37 seconds, the second largest in Olympic history. Jones had said that she would win five gold medals at the Sydney Games. She didn't reach her goal, but with three golds and two bronzes she did better than any female track athlete ever at a single Olympics.
