Diane Carpenter bathes her daughter Beth (13), who is autistic. Beth's language development stopped at the level of a 20-month old child, and she has most of her basic needs taken care of by her mother. Diane helps her daughter bathe, wash her hair, clean her teeth, and get dressed every day.
