Mourners take cover behind gravestones and flee in terror. On the eve of St. Patrick's day, 5,000 people gathered at the Catholic Milltown cemetery to bury three IRA members who had been killed by Britain's SAS regiment in Gibraltar. As the coffins were being lowered into the ground, the silence was broken by gunfire and the thud of hand grenades. The attacker tried to flee, but was beaten up by the crowd before being rescued by police. Single-handedly, he had killed three people and injured 60.
