At the Australian Grand Sumo Tournament in Sydney. The tournament brought together 36 of the world's top 40 sumo wrestlers to compete. On the second night, the Japanese wrestler Takanohana emerged as the winner after defeating the only other wrestler boasting the rank of 'yokozuna' (champion of champions), Akebono of Hawaii.
