Koren's main interests are humanitarian issues which are often the subject of his documentary projects such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, poverty, the Tsunami, Guantanamo Prison, the Haiti earthquake and AIDS in South Africa, to name a few.
His photographs from various projects and assignments have been published in numerous international publications including Time Magazine, Newsweek, and The Sunday Times Magazine. Koren’s award-winning photographs have also been included in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide including at the Metropolitan Museum of Tokyo, the Memorial Museum in Spain and the War Museum in Croatia. Additionally, Koren has contributed to many books, and regularly lectures at workshops and universities worldwide and recently published his 13th book.
Koren became a Canon ambassador for EMEA in 2008.
