Tamas Revesz was born in Budapest. He is an award-winning photographer. His awards include the Pulitzer Memorial Prize, World Press Photo, and Béla Balázs. Revesz is the author of 12 photo books, but his work has also been publised by major magazines and he is a globally exhibited artist.
He has been a member of the international jury of World Press Photo, as well as a Recipient of Howard Chapnik Grant by W. Eugene Smith Foundation. As a curator, he has curated numerous photo exhibitions in Budapest. He has been the organizer of the World Press Photo exhibition in Budapest for more than two decades. He is currently the head of the photojournalism department at the Budapest College of Communication and Business.
