Arnoud van Dommele

Arnoud van Dommele is a business economist and entrepreneur. He has worked as a chief financial officer and chief executive officer for publishing and manufacturing companies, including VNU Business Publications, Veronica Publishing, SBS Broadcasting, and Fokker Aircraft. He specializes in supporting the growth of companies and organizations. 

Van Dommele was a member and chairman of the What Design Can Do foundation board until 2016, when he became the organization’s managing director, leading the expansion of What Design Can Do to Mexico, Brazil, Kenya, and India.

He has served as a member of several supervisory boards and is currently a board member of the Museum Jan in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, specialized in glass and contemporary art.

In March 2020, van Dommele joined the World Press Photo Foundation as an interim business director. In July 2020 he assumed the role of managing director.
