Rodrigo Orrantia is an art historian and curator, specialised in photography. Over the last 15 years he has worked on projects for major museums in the United Kingdom, along with art fairs and festivals in the United Kingdom and Europe. He currently works at the exhibitions department at the RIBA in London.
Orrantia is a regular speaker at Universities in the United Kingdom and France, and a reviewer at international photography festivals. He was awarded Exceptional Talent in the Arts status by Arts Council England for his work in the arts, specifically for curating and producing collaborative projects connecting communities with international artists. In 2017 he won the Format Habitat award and more recently the 2020 Landskrona Foto Festival Open Call. He lives and works in London, UK.
Rodrigo Orrantia is a nominator for World Press Photo's 6x6 Global Talent Progam and was in the selection committee for the second cycle of the program in North and Central America.
