Karim Fezzazi (Morocco, 1965) has been interested in photography from the moment he was presented with his first camera at the age of 12. Born in Fez, he studied communication in Casablanca, where photography was an essential part of the curriculum. In 2000, he joined the Moroccan magazine News Photo as a photojournalist. He took part in the 2004 Photokina in Cologne, was involved in the launch of the Canon Ixus in London, and attended a World Press Photo workshop in Amman, Jordan. Since 2007, Fezzazi has been a photojournalist at Morocco’s foremost Arab-language daily newspaper, Al Massae.
