Elaine McMillion Sheldon is a documentary storyteller, visual journalist and one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Sheldon’s work has been featured at the New York Film Festival, IFP Conference, Camden International Film Festival, StoryCode NYC and in The Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, Filmmaker magazine and PBS MediaShift.
Sheldon has previously produced work for The Washington Post Digital’s documentary video department, as well as two feature-length films and two New York Times’ Op-Docs. She earned a B.S. from West Virginia University in Journalism and a M.F.A. in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College.
