Dominic Nahr was born in Switzerland, but raised in Hong Kong, where he established himself as a photojournalist working as a staff photographer for the South China Morning Post. In 2007, while at university in Toronto, Dominic became a freelance photographer, his work appearing in such publications as Newsweek and GQ. His current clients include National Geographic, Time and The Wall Street Journal. Dominic's accolades include an Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award, a PDN Top 30 Under 30, and an exhibition at Visa pour l'Image in Perpignan. He joined Magnum Photos as a nominee in the summer of 2010 and was a participant in the 2010 Joop Swart Masterclass in the autumn of 2010.
