Nicoló Filippo Rosso, born in Italy in 1985, is a freelance photographer living in Bogotá, Colombia.
Rosso’s work focuses on long-term projects in Latin America. Since 2018, he has focused on documenting stories of Venezuelan migrants who cross the border with Colombia to reach other Latin American countries. He began documenting the impact of the exploitation of coal on the people and land of Colombia’s La Guajira Peninsula in 2016.
Rosso graduated with a degree in Literature from the University of Torino, in Italy.
His editorial clients include Bloomberg News, The Washington Post, BusinessWeek, Le Point, Der Spiegel, and others.
