Finlay Young is a Scottish freelance writer, lawyer and researcher who has lived and worked in a variety of post-conflict and developing countries.
His journalism has been published by The Economist, The Financial Times, Newsweek, Foreign Policy and The Herald.
Young’s legal work focuses on human rights, access to justice, judicial reform and responses to sexual and gender-based violence. He has law degrees from the University of Glasgow and the University of Pennsylvania.
