Clarens Siffroy

Haiti

Clarens Siffroy (b. 2000) is a photojournalist who is currently based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. His work focuses on capturing the realities of social and political events, primarily in Haiti, through visual storytelling. 

Since March 2024, he has been a photographer for Agence France-Presse, documenting the ongoing crisis and violence in Haiti. Previously, he has collaborated with and worked for EFE, Le Nouvelliste, TIME Magazine, The Guardian, The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN, BBC, Le Temps, Le Devoir, Libération, CBS News, Le Monde, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, Forbes, RFI, and El Espectador.

Siffroy is an alumnus of the VII Academy’s 12-week program and was selected to participate in the Eddie Adams Workshop. Since March 2024, he has been a member of Diversify Photo.
