Chalinee Thirasupa is a visual journalist and sports photographer from Thailand. She graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a degree in International Relations in 2008. In 2010, she combined her love for photography with her passion for sports and was hired as an official photographer for a Thai League football team.
Chalinee later joined a local newspaper and switched to news photography, and in 2018 made the decision to pursue a career as a visual storyteller. Soon after she began freelancing for Reuters in 2019, and she was a member of the team that was recognised at the Reuters Journalists of the Year Awards in 2020 for their breaking news coverage of Thailand's anti-government demonstrations. In 2025, Chalinee started working for Reuters as a staff photographer based in Bangkok, Thailand.
Throughout her career, Chalinee has covered news events both domestically and internationally.
