Alexey Vasilyev (1985) is a documentary photographer based in Yakutia, Russia.
His work focuses on the daily life research of people in the far North and their national identity in the global world.
Vasilyev graduated from the philological faculty of Yakut State University and worked at the children's republican newspaper The Youth of the North from 2010 to 2019.
Since 2017 he is a member of the Russian Union of Photographers and he entered The School of Modern Photography DokDokDok in St. Petersburg in 2018.
