Alexey Perevoshchikov

Alexey Perevoshchikov (1905-1988) studied at the Vyatka Industrial Art College. He worked as a photographer for the daily newspaper Vyatskaya Pravda. During the Second World War, he was a photographer at the Leningrad Military Clinic. After the war, Perevoshchikov joined the Leningrad bureau of ITAR-TASS, and later returned to his native town of Kirov-Chepetsk, where he became a photographer at the local thermal power station. From 1952 onwards, he devoted himself to art photography. His work can be found in the Kirov Regional Arts Museum, an a substantial part of his archive has been aquired by RIA Novosti.
