Alessandro Digaetano, who became a professional photographer in 2001, is particularly interested in social issues, architecture and urbanization. He currently lives on the hills of Alta Val Tidone, Italy.
Digaetano's work has been published in the major publications including Internazionale, L'Espresso, D di Repubblica, The Guardian, Stern, Courrier International, Geo, among others. His work has been exhibited throughout Italy and around the world.
Having worked a lot in the Middle and Far East, Digaetano moved to Beijing from 2002-2008, where he documented the rapid evolution of the country.
Digaetano taught reportage at the John Kaverdash Photo Academy in Milan, Italy.
