Italian photographers Alessandro Albert (Turin, 1965) and Paolo Verzone (Turin, 1967) have been collaborating on projects since the 1980s. In 1992, they published together the book Volti di Passaggio with portraits taken in Moscow during the summer of 1991, which they extended in The Moscow Project (2011). For their project The Seeuropeans (2002), they made portraits along the Italian, Lithuanian, French and Finnish coasts between 1994 and 2002.
