Ahmad Halabisaz is a freelance photojournalist and visual storyteller who focuses on social issues, personal projects and documenting the impact of conflict in mostly the Middle East. He divides his time between Iran and Afghanistan.
Halabisaz studied photojournalism at the Iranian Journalists Association University in Tehran and has worked in Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Syria.
His photographs have appeared in Time, Le Monde, AP, Getty Images, among other international media outlets over the past 15 years. He has won several awards, including the Deadline Club Awards New York and the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar.
