Adem Altan is a photojournalist from Turkey, working in the field for the last 40 years. He joined AFP 15 years ago.
Throughout his career, he has extensively covered and documented various events and news in Turkey, including the Gezi riots near Taksim Square in Istanbul in 2013 and the earthquake in January 2023.
