Patron of the World Press Photo Foundation

His Royal Highness Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands has been the patron of the World Press Photo Foundation since 2008.

Prince Constantijn is the third son of Princess Beatrix and Prince Claus, and a brother of King Willem-Alexander.

Prince Constantijn is an independent adviser on corporate innovation and jointly initiated Startup Fest Europe, a five-day festival of events throughout the Netherlands. He is also Director of Digital Technology and Macro Strategy at Macro Advisory Partners in London. On 1 July 2016 Prince Constantijn was appointed Special Envoy for StartupDelta2020. The Prince will be at the helm of the successor to StartupDelta – with which he was closely involved as an advisor – for the next 18 months. In January 2017 the Prince joined the 15-strong High Level Group of Innovators that advises the European Commission on improving Europe's performance in breakthrough, market-creating innovation.

In 2017 Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien set up the Number 5 Foundation, a charity which is currently developing various innovatory initiatives to address a range of social issues.
