Sara Kolster

Sara Kolster is an interactive director and designer specialized in digital storytelling.
As an independent maker, Kolster develops interactive experiences such as the award winning VR Drawing Room (IDFA Doclab Award), web-doc Love Radio, (IDFA Doclab, Zilveren Camera) and interactive video Hidden Wounds (IDFA Doclab, Reflecting Images 2013).
She uses different strategies, from time-based media to research methods belonging to disciplines such as journalism and documentary or techniques from game world. Her work has been shown at international festivals and exhibitions in Amsterdam, Sao Paulo, Tokyo & Berlin.
