Dozier Mobley

Dozier Mobley (1933-2009) learned photography through a correspondence course while serving in the U.S. Army. During the 1960s, Mobley worked as a photojournalist for the Atlanta Journal, Associated Press and United Press International, among others. From the end of the 1960s onwards, Mobley photographed NASCAR's Winston Cup (now NASCAR Sprint Cup) for its biggest sponsor at the time R.J. Reynolds Tobacco.
