Louis-Richard Tremblay is a producer at the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), in the interactive studio. Coming from college and indie radio, he leaped into the multimedia world in 2001, joining the Bandeapart.fm cross-platform lab project team for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In charge of special projects and live recordings and events, Tremblay worked at the epicenter of the evolution of new media.
Before joining the NFB in 2013, he was chief editor for a news and public affairs lab unit, exploring new narratives for regional stories. His most recent projects include the webdoc movie Fort McMoney and McLaren Wall-to-Wall, a tribute to Norman McLaren, consisting of three in situ interactive installations. Through his career Tremblay has won his fair share of local and international prizes, including awards from Online Journalism and The Society of News Design for #BanlieueLaNuit and Brossard Chinatown.
