Presenting workshops and the winners’ showcase at Arles 2025
World Press Photo is pleased to present a series of workshops and the 2025 Contest winners’ showcase at the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival in July 2025.
The workshops will take place daily 8-12 July at the FUJIKINA space, where we will explore new forms of documentary photography and the evolving language of visual narratives; spanning topics such as personal storytelling, artistic documentary practices, community engagement, and the power of editing and multimedia.
Also join us on 10 July at Festival OFF Arles, for a special outdoor showcase of the award winning stories of the 2025 World Press Photo Contest - to recognize and celebrate the world’s best photojournalism and documentary photography.

Photographer and editor Musuk Nolte explores how to merge documentary and artistic photography to address pressing social issues like memory, community, and environmental degradation. Randa Mirza – Expanding Visual Narratives Through Mixed Media

Artist Randa Mirza invites participants to push the boundaries of documentary storytelling using video, sound, performance, and installation. Drawing from her own interdisciplinary work, she offers tools to explore new forms of expression and challenge conventional visual narratives.
