Trapped

Macedonia constructed a barbed wire fence border in November 2015, to deter people from entering the country illegally via Greece. Under the current regulation, only the immigrants from Syria and Iraq are allowed to cross into the Balkan country.

This documentary shows Macedonia erecting the fence over three months, and how the border closure has stranded thousands of migrants and refugees in Greece, provoking high tension and clashes.
