For the past 15 years, he has worked as a teacher of photojournalism, an examiner at the Danish School of Photojournalism, and as a visiting lecturer at many universities. He has also worked as photo editor for numerous book projects and a jury member for national and international photo contests, including the 2016 World Press Photo Contest as a member of the Documentary and News jury.
In 2009, he was appointed Politiken’s photo editor-in-chief.
