Meaghan Looram is a graduate of Stanford University and the deputy photo editor at The New York Times. She is a front-page editor and oversees the newspaper's staff of 40 photo editors as well as many of its most ambitious photography projects, including “A Year at War”, “One in 8 Million” and the annual Year in Pictures.
Meaghan was the photo editor for “One in 8 Million”, which won an Emmy Award in 2010. She was also the editor of “A Year at War” which won first prize in the interactive category of the first World Press Photo Multimedia Contest, as well as an Emmy Award and an Alfred I Dupont-Columbia Award in 2011.
