Daphné Anglès is a Paris-based assignments editor for the The New York Times. A Franco-American graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, she has worked with The New York Times for over 20 years. She is an active jury member for the Canon Female Photojournalist Award, ICRC Humanitarian Visa d'or Award, Scanpix Stora Fotopris, Bayeux-Calvados War Correspondent Award, Prix Webdocumentaire France 24, Prix Lucas Dolega, Grand Prix Eurazeo, Carmignac Photojournalism Award, and a nominator for Prix Pictet. She curates photo exhibitions at Galerie Dupon in Paris and is a portfolio reviewer at LensCulture FotoFest. Daphné has been secretary of the World Press Photo jury since 2009.
